This policy explains what information Ready. Set. Picnic. collects through this website, why we collect it, and who else can see it. We have tried to write it in plain language rather than legal boilerplate.
Who we are
This website is operated by Libad Ventures LLC, doing business as Ready. Set. Picnic., a picnic rental company based in Wichita, Kansas.

Information you give us
We only collect what you type into a form and send us.
The contact form collects your name, email address, and your message. Phone number and preferred picnic date are optional.
The partnerships and media form collects the topic you select, your name, email address, and your message. Business or organization name, phone number, and website or social media are optional.
We use this information to answer you and, if you go on to book, to arrange your rental. We do not sell it, rent it, or trade it, and we do not add you to a marketing list without your say-so.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, this one records basic technical information when you visit: the pages you look at, roughly where in the world you are, which browser and device you used, and which site sent you here.
We use this to understand which pages are useful and which are not. It is not used to identify you personally, and we do not attempt to link it to your name or email address.
Cookies and analytics
This site uses Google Analytics, which sets cookies in your browser to recognise repeat visits and measure how the site is used. Google Analytics is the only thing on this site that sets a cookie. Our own code sets none, and we do not use advertising or retargeting trackers.

You can refuse cookies in your browser settings, or install Google's Analytics opt-out add-on. Blocking these cookies will not stop any part of this website from working.
Other services we rely on
A few outside companies handle parts of this website for us. Each one sees only what it needs to do its job.
Netlify hosts the website and receives anything you submit through a form. Their servers log standard request information, including your IP address.
Google Fonts supplies the typefaces used on the site. Loading them means Google receives your IP address.
Google Analytics measures site usage, as described above.
Stripe processes payments when you book. Card details are entered on Stripe's own secure pages and never pass through this website. We never see or store your full card number.
Google Calendar handles booking appointments. Choosing a booking option takes you to a Google-hosted page, where Google's own privacy terms apply.
Links to other sites
This site links out to Google Calendar for booking, to our Facebook and Instagram pages, and to a small number of other websites. Once you follow a link away from here, this policy no longer applies and the other site's policy takes over.
How long we keep things
We keep form messages and reservation records for as long as we need them to run the business and meet our tax and accounting obligations.
Ask us to delete a message you sent and we will, unless we are required to keep it as part of a completed booking.
Keeping information safe
The site is served over an encrypted connection, and form submissions and payments are handled by established providers. No website can promise perfect security, and we would rather say that plainly than imply otherwise.
Children
This website is meant for adults booking a picnic. Reservations must be made by someone at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has sent us information, email us and we will delete it.
Photographs
When we provide on-site setup we sometimes take a few informal photos as a courtesy. We will not use photographs in which you or your guests are identifiable for advertising, social media, or any other marketing purpose without your permission.
Your choices
Email us at hello@readysetpicnic.com to ask what information we hold about you, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted. We will do our best to sort it out promptly.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and change the date below. Substantial changes will be noted at the top of the page.
